Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Team Leader to work (over night) in their distribution centre located on the outskirts of Coventry.
Key responsibilities of the role include
- Organising and managing the NDC operation from receiving to loading.
- Working with up to 30 Team Managers to ensure the the agreed standards of business activity are met.
- Manage agency relationships ensuring staffing levels and key performance indicators are met.
- Efficiently manage daily workloads to agreed deadlines
- Report writing and project management where required
- Overseeing performance reviews and absence management reviews undertaken by Team Managers.
- Undertaking performance reviews for your Team Managers
- Promote and ensure H&S compliance for all team members
- Prompt and efficient accident reporting
- Prepare budgets and forcasts for your area of responsibility
- Communicate operational plans to your team in a timely accurate manner
Ideal candidates will have previously worked in a busy automated DC environment, have knowledge of ISO 9002. ISO 4001 and Investors in People and leadership of operational staff in a tightly controlled environment.
