This is a key role in the successful operation of their business with key responsibilities including
- Managing a large team of Team Managers and ultimately responsible for 300+ staff
- The ongoing development of the Team Managers through regular appraisals and performance reviews
- The ongoing compliance with all statutory regulations regarding H&S and accident reporting
- To manage the inward movement of deliveries effectively
- To manage the replenishment operation in a timely and cost effective manner
- To manage the dispatch of cross docked goods in an accurate and timely manner.
- Monitor shift activity to ensure all targets are met
- Preparing and presenting department budgets
- Work as part of a team with other shift managers to ensure site KPI's are met.
Ideal candidates will posses an indepth knowledge of the challenges faced when managing a large computerised warehouse environment, can demonstrate previous experience of change management and project management. Have knowledge of ISO9002, ISO4001 and Investors in People.
