Our client is a world leading automotive parts manufacturer and they are looking to recruit a Production Buyer with a proven track record in driving down business costs and an ability to manage costs variances through New Product Introduction and ensure costs remain competitive.
The role will involve providing evidence of comparative analysis and supplier benchmarking in conjunction with a total quality cost model. The successful candidate will have a commodity knowledge in electronics and also knowledge of TPS, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and best practice logistics and techniques.
Excellent negotation skills are a must and you will be results driven and have an ability to work under pressure to might strict deadlines.
Advanced presentation and Microsoft Excel skills also desirable.
